Swath is a perfect fabric choice for fixed upholstery such as sofas, chairs and headboards. It is also great for soft furnishings such as scatter cushions and footstools. A lovely soft corduroy fabric with plenty of character. Swathe scores 100,000 on the Martindale test, this means it is suitable for domestic use through to contract use and is particularly hard wearing. The Martindale test is essentially a process for scoring how durable fabrics are by seeing how much wear and tear they can take before there is a noticeable change in appearance. Swathe comes as domestic flame retardant (FR) as standard and is therefore suitable for all domestic use including large fixed upholstered items. For items in the home, please choose the Domestic FR option. For contract purposes i.e. hotels, restaurants, pubs etc please choose the Contract FR option.

Removable covers can be machine washed at 30 degrees. Professional cleaning required for fixed pieces, using a small unseen piece in the first instance. To remove common everyday stains, absorb wet stains and scrape away solid stains (not against the pile), wash with water and ordinary detergent.
