Coast is offered in a range of muted and neutral tones lending itself to that perfect modern look. Coast scores  40,000 on the Martindale rub test, this means it is suitable for curtains, blinds, soft furnishings, upholstery and contract use. The Martindale test is essentially a process for scoring how durable fabrics are by seeing how much wear and tear they can take before there is a noticeable change in the appearance. Coast comes as domestic flame retardant (FR) as standard and is therefore suitable for all domestic use including large fixed upholstered items. For items in the home, please choose the domestic FR option. For contract purposes i.e. hotels, restaurants, pubs etc, please choose the contract FR option.

Regular turning of cushions will greatly help to retain the appearance as will regular vacuuming with a hand vacuum. Removable covers can be machine washed at 30 degrees. Professional cleaning is recommended for fixed items, using a small unseen piece in the first instance. Shrinkage of up to 3% during first wash is possible.
