The Martindale test is essentially a process for scoring how durable fabrics are by seeing how much wear and tear they can take before there is a noticeable change in appearance. Aalto comes as domestic flame retardant (FR) as standard and is therefore suitable for all domestic use including large fixed upholstered items. For items in the home, please choose the Domestic FR option. For contract purposes i.e. hotels, restaurants, pubs etc please choose the Contract FR option.
